Pastor Renate and her husband CharlesRenate Day was the Founding Pastor of Faith Christian Fellowship of Trenton. Moving to the United States from Germany in her teen years when she married her husband Charles, she lived her life as an example to others, teaching them to put Jesus first. Starting FCF of Trenton from humble beginnings, she and Charles pursued a calling in ministry, connecting with and being ordained by Faith Christian Fellowship International and turning FCF of Trenton into a place where people could cultivate their gifts and relationships.
A main focus for Pastor Renate was always that we each have to have our own personal relationship with God and His Word. While we should always hear from great leaders, teachers, and mentors, she was clear that the faith of others was no substitute for our own, and she held to teaching the Word in a way that was practical for our everyday lives, reminding us all that God speaks to every one of us. A wonderful wife, mother, and friend to those who knew her, Renate is now home in heaven, leaving a legacy of the Word for others to pick up and carry on. |
